Holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, their strategic approach to childcare administration is complemented by a second Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE). This unique combination of business acumen and specialized knowledge in ECE equips Synthia with a holistic understanding of the childcare industry, ensuring a well-rounded and effective approach to providing a nurturing environment for young learners. Synthia is dedicated to fostering a space where children thrive, grow, and develop in a supportive and enriching atmosphere."
Katie
Director
With an impressive tenure of 9 years at Small Wonders, Katie stands as a cornerstone of our childcare team and proudly serves as our Director. Her extensive hands-on experience reflects a deep understanding of the unique needs of our children, families, staff, and the broader community we serve. Currently pursuing Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework, Katie’s commitment to continuous learning highlights her dedication to professional growth and to staying aligned with best practices in early childhood education. In her role as Director, she provides strong leadership, consistency, and a compassionate approach that supports both daily operations and long-term program growth. Katie’s journey with Small Wonders exemplifies loyalty, leadership, and a proactive approach to personal and professional development. Her role as Director is a natural progression of the trust she has earned and the vital impact she continues to have on the quality of care and education at Small Wonders.
Kit
Assistant Director
Kaydie serves as the Assistant Director at Small Wonders and has been a valued member of our team for over two years. She holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and is continuing her studies toward a Bachelor’s degree. Kaydie is also a Pyramid Model Internal Coach, supporting social-emotional best practices across our program. In addition to her leadership role, Kaydie is the Lead Teacher in our one-year-old classroom, where she creates a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. Her background in individualized care, combined with her dedication to early childhood education, makes her an integral part of the Small Wonders team..
Harlie
Butterfly Lead Teacher
With over four years of childcare experience, including more than two years at Small Wonders, Harlie is a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher in our four-year-old classroom and a valued member of our administrative team. She also serves as our Nevada Ready Pre-K Teacher, where she does an exceptional job ensuring her classroom aligns with Nevada Pre-K standards. Currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, Harlie brings strong practical experience and enthusiasm to the Small Wonders team. She flourishes in areas that include behavior supports and developmental delays, and her nurturing approach ensures a positive, enriching, and developmentally appropriate environment for our young learners.
Isabel
Lead Dragonfly Teacher
Isabel is the Lead Teacher in our Dragonfly classroom and has been a valued member of the Small Wonders team for nearly two years. She also serves as our Internal QRIS Coach, supporting quality standards and best practices across our program. Isabel’s passion for helping children learn and grow is evident in the strong relationships she builds and the supportive, confidence-building environment she creates in her classroom. She is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, further strengthening her dedication to providing high-quality care and meaningful learning experiences. We are grateful to have Isabel as part of our team.
Lucy
Lead Bumblebee Teacher
Lucy has been a valued member of the Small Wonders team for two years and serves as the Lead Bumble Bee Teacher. She loves watching children grow and learn and is committed to ensuring every child feels valued, safe, and happy in her care. Lucy is known for being loving and patient, and she brings a calm, nurturing presence to her classroom each day. Her passion for early childhood education and genuine care for the children she works with help create a positive, supportive environment where children can thrive. We are grateful to have Lucy as part of the Small Wonders family.

Firefly Teacher
Audree is the Lead Firefly Teacher in our one-year-old classroom and a caring, dependable member of the Small Wonders team. She loves supporting children as they learn and grow through play, exploration, and meaningful connections. Her gentle, patient approach helps create a warm, welcoming environment where our youngest learners feel safe and supported. Audree takes pride in building strong relationships with the children and families she works with and is attentive to each child’s individual needs and developmental milestones. Her nurturing presence, calm demeanor, and dedication to early childhood care make her a valued part of the Small Wonders family.
Becca
Float
Becca has been a valued member of the Small Wonders team for one year and serves as a classroom float, providing support across our classrooms and assisting our lead teachers throughout the day. She builds strong connections with the children and approaches her work with genuine care and compassion. Rebecca’s flexibility, reliability, and nurturing nature make her an important support for both our students and staff.
Mariah

Mariah works as a classroom float at Small Wonders and is eager to continue learning and growing in the field of Early Childhood Education. She enjoys supporting children throughout their day and brings a positive, helpful presence into each classroom she works in.
